Leadership and Advisory Groups
Cities of Service is supported by three different leadership and advisory groups – our Board of Directors, our Mayors Council, and our Advisors. Each of these groups plays an integral role in ensuring the success of our work.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is comprised of champions of the Cities of Service citizen engagement model, which helps mayors authentically and effectively engage their citizens to solve local challenges together. The Board supports the work of the organization and provides mission-based leadership, governance, and oversight.
The Mayors Council is comprised of sitting mayors who share the Cities of Service belief in the power of citizen engagement to achieve meaningful change in their city. As members of the Council, these mayors serve as ambassadors and advisors for the organization.
Cities of Service Advisors are experts and influencers hailing from a range of fields, including academia, citizen engagement, service, philanthropy, and innovation. Advisors provide insights and introductions that help Cities of Service to bring about tangible change, build a community of trust, and create stronger, more vibrant cities.
